Hi all:

I recently bought 4 of the newly-released mystery books for my 7 year old daughter, and she really loved them! She pretty much finished one book per day, and now she is begging for more. I went into AG site, saw quite a few selections, and don't know what to buy. I am planning to get 4 or 5 more history mystery books (with the code of course). Anyone has any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

You can buy one of them and a short story and they come out close to 10.00. I bought a lot of books and paid 53 cents and thereabouts for several of them - plus shipping, of course. I'm going to try for some others with the ship code too.

My dd has liked all of them except the Nightflyers - don't know why that one didn't appeal. I read the first one, I think it was, and liked it myself. She also loved the GOML books and I hear they just went on sale further - I'd snap those up.

I think all of them are good. I especially like Watcher in the Piney Woods, Enemy at the Fort, Circle of Fire, Shadows in the Glasshouse(I think that's what it's called), The Minstrol's Melody, and all of the other books.

I have heard of the History Mysteries but have never read them with my daughter. What would you ocmpare this series to? Are they like Dear America or Royal Diaries (my daughter loves the Royal Diaries series)?
